About the role:

As a Business Development Manager, your role will be instrumental in establishing new business partnerships, understanding customer needs, and tailoring our unique solutions to their problems. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our founders and senior management to guide key customer deals to completion. You will also be working hand in hand with other teams to devise and implement strategic outreach plans.

Your primary responsibilities will be to:

  1. Understand a customer's business structure, commercial and technical needs, and decision-making processes.
  2. Develop customized solutions for customers, collaborating internally with our product, operations, and legal teams.
  3. Conduct end-to-end pitches, including product demonstrations, negotiations, and engagement with necessary internal stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with our product and marketing teams to ensure we have the right product features to scale our go-to-market approach across multiple countries.
  5. Conduct successful closing negotiations with partners and handover customers to our account management team.
Who we are looking for:
  1. You have 3+ years of experience in customer-facing roles (sales, business development, consulting, etc.), ideally in the B2B segment.
  2. You are passionate about fast-moving technology trends (e.g., new invoicing and payment solutions), understand the value of API integrations, and are keen to learn more about challenges and solutions in the fintech space.
  3. You have proven experience in outbound sales (phone, events, mail, LinkedIn, etc.)
  4. You have an established network in the B2B environment and know how to engage and negotiate with higher levels within organizations (up to C-Level).
  5. You are an entrepreneurial thinker, customer-focused, highly motivated, and take ownership of tasks to drive impactful results.
  6. You are fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
